Love and Lust forever by Tero Puha16. January - 28. February
Skilfully blending fact and fiction, the video tells about two trash movie stars, Linda Lust and Cheryl Love, and their reckless drive to attain celebrity.
Having appeared in such films as Dirty Dolls, Blood of Passion and Sins, the meteoric rise of the duo to fame and magazine cover celebrity happened under just as questionable circumstances as their disappearance from limelight. Their careers ended in a tragic car crash in which Linda Lust was killed. Blamed for the crash, Cheryl disappeared from publicity. What really happened?
In Tero Puha's new video, In Love with Lust, an eager reporter is making a documentary about the career and current situation of the starlets. The documentary contains scenes from their films, interviews, music video clips and stills. There are also photos on exhibit in the Studio.
Love and Lust Forever is part of a multimedia project, Love & Lust Museum, launched by Tero Puha 15 years ago. An exhibition in the project series, presented in the Kluuvi Gallery in Helsinki, attracted a great deal of attention in 1999.
A special collectors DVD edition containing a four-colour catalogue will be published in conjunction with the exhibition.
